National Child Protection Week (30 May to 6 June 2021) is commemorated annually to raise awareness of the rights of children as articulated in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and Children’s Act (Act No. 38 of 2005). We can support Child Protection Week by ensuring that the most vulnerable in our society do not suffer abuse. The ISKCON CPO and regional CPTs not only educate children about their rights, but also educate adults, parents, guardians, and teachers who are responsible for protecting those rights.

PADMA Store Online
The PADMA Project vision is to develop a sustainable plan to develop both the ISKCON DURBAN property and the devotee community. This endeavour requires resources and we have thus decided to open an online store that will help our devotee community while raising funds. ISKCON Durban would like to partner with local devotee entrepreneurs by creating a platform where we can offer handmade, locally sourced items for the online store. All profits will go towards The PADMA Project, which is ISKCON Durban’s strategic and development plan to restore and uplift the temple facilities. If you would like to join this initiative, contact us on padmaproject@iskcondurban.net
