Dear Friends
Please accept our best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Over the last few weeks and for the first time in many months, we opened up the temple for programs. The Radhastami festival programs — mangal arati and bathing ceremony — were fully booked and all who attended left inspired by the experience. It was so wonderful to have many devotees engaged in kirtan, hearing, and chanting together. Hopefully, there will be a steady decline in COVID infection numbers. In this way, we will open more opportunities and facilities for everyone dedicated to Sri Sri Radha Radhanath to engage in service and to attend programs.
The temple is opened daily for walkthrough darshan from 9am until 1pm. The Sunday morning mangal arati program is being enthusiastically attended, and we look forward to many more devotees attending. You may book here
Yesterday, a devotee enquired with concern about how the temple is managing financially. We were pleased to report that due to the grace of Sri Sri Radha Radhanath and the generous kindness of Their devotees, we received much financial support to sustain the basic operation of the temple. So, to all of you who sacrificed and contributed financially and in other ways, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your service in maintaining your spiritual home, Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple. Srila Prabhupada commented to Mr. P. L. Sethi (who greatly assisted him in Juhu): “Just as you are building these rooms for my disciples here, Krishna is building your rooms for you in Vaikuntha, the spiritual world.” Similarly, we are confident that Lord Krishna is reciprocating with your dedication and commitment to maintaining Sri Sri Radha Radhanath’s temple here, by making arrangements for your residence in the spiritual world.
We want to hear from you. Please share your feedback, thoughts, and ideas on how we can progress Srila Prabhupada’s mission together. You may write to temple@iskcondurban.net.
Thank you. Hare Krishna.
